Hello, AABBI members.

As reported back in the spring, AABBI, upon the advice of many members, has decided to break from our traditional Conference and Trade Show for 2009. Still, AABBI's Bylaws obligate the organization to host an Annual Meeting and Elections.

We have decided, therefore, to host an Annual Meeting over lunch on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. We will meet at the Urban Tea Loft in Downtown Chandler. Those of you who attended last year's AABBI Conference in Chandler may recall dining at the Urban Tea Loft. It was quite wonderful and they are creating a special lunch menu just for us.

In order to make it easier for each of you to make the day-trip to the Valley, we will begin the lunch meeting promptly at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m. AABBI's all-inclusive cost for lunch is $20 per person. We will ask each AABBI member for a $10 contribution at the door and will certainly welcome a $20 contribution, if you're able. Our intention is to make this meeting easy, affordable and fun.

So get out of your inn for a day and come to Chandler! Meet your friends and colleagues, enjoy a great lunch, recognize some outstanding work of our members, discuss a bit about the future and vote for your 2010 Board of Directors. We are seeking Board candidates, by the way, so please drop me a line if you're interested or have questions.

Please hold the date on your calendar. Look for another message from me in mid-October, asking for reservations/commitments from those of you who plan to attend. I'll also include lunch menu options for your selection.
