AABBI Rack Cards Available at Annual Meeting
Hello, AABBI Members. Almost 15,000 of our newest two-sided rack cards were first distrubuted around the state back in March. The look and feel of the card coordinate with our new graphic identity, message and website. We will have our rack cards available for distrubtion to you at our December 8 meeting in Chandler. The card encourages travelers to visit www.Arizona-Bed-Breakfast.com to assist in planning their journey, to recommend some outstanding itineraries and to coordinate their trip around the local and regional events most recommended by our member innkeepers. While on our site, visitors will also be guided to our many outstanding member bed and breakfast inns. The cards are printed with 10% post-consumer waste content and with vegetable-based inks. They are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and the SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative).
AABBI will retrieve from our printer a portion of the 75,000 remaining cards and will bring them to our December 8 meeting. We encourage each member inn to take 600 cards home to distribute them to your local visitor centers, tourist attractions and other sites of interest. Typically, a visitor center will gladly accept 200 cards at a time. Other sites may not be able to take as many. We will leave it to your discretion. A sincere note of thanks goes to the Arizona Office of Tourism. It is because of their generous grant covering 100% of our design and printing costs, that are able to produce such a beautiful card and so many of them. Thanks, too, go to Whitespace Design of Tucson for a truly great design effort and for working within AABBI's and AOT's design and production requirements. This is yet another step in making our member B&Bs more visible and to promote the obvious benefits of B&B travel in our beautiful state. JEFF Jeff DiGregorio, President
